Jazz is in good hands

Two vocalists I have discovered lately. One, Vanisha Gould, a Californian, is a bandleader, composer, and vocalist and just plain fun to listen to.

Another, April Varner, here singing a standard, has hints of Ella in her voice.

Every time I think that jazz might be destined to the archives, along come musicians such as these two.
