Easter Sunday 2025

Happy Easter, if you celebrate. I'm a cradle Catholic with all the sacraments under his belt and so, this holiday always gives me pause. To be Catholic (whether practicing or not) in Oklahoma is strange at times. I still meet people (college students and folks my age) who see Catholicism as a cult. Something with multiple Gods and magic incantations.

A friend of mine who also teaches in a place where there are relatively few Catholics suggested to me that it actually strengthened his Catholic identity and I'd say it has mine. I will likely post more about this, going forward.
